Dr. Brajendra Lahkar, holds M.B.B.S degree from Dibrugarh University, Assam in 1991 and MD (Internal Medicine) from Dibrugarh University, Assam in 1996. Also, ISCCM accredited teacher for Indian Diploma of Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM), Trained in Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Life Support at Wallsol Manor Hospital, UK in 2006.
Dr. Lahkar has over 20 years of experience in medical profession.
Serving as Senior Consultant & Medical Advisor from Nov 2008 in the Dept. of Internal Medicine & Critical Care at Dispur Hospitals, Ganeshguri, Guwahati (Assam).
He is Life Member of - Indian society of Critical care Medicine (ISCCM); European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM); (API); Society of Emergency Medicine in India (SEMI); Chairman, ISCCM Guwahati City Branch,2017 – 2019; Founder Executive Member, ISCCM Guwahati City Branch; Founder Secretary, Society for Emergency Medicine in India (SEMI), North-East chapter.
Dr. Lahkar has overall 17 paper presentations and overall 10 publications. Dr. Brajendra has special interest in Developmental Emergency Medicine and Development of Organized Trauma care system in this region.
